The 2012 Miss New Jersey American Coed pageant will be held July 20-22 at the Hanover Marriott Hotel!

My name is Tami Charles and I am the very PROUD director for the New Jersey American Coed Pageants! I have a long history with American Coed, having begun my journey in 1993. I have met some of my BEST friends through this system and was even blessed with the opportunity to attend college on a FULL academic scholarship...all thanks to Coed. My foundation here at Coed has developed me into the well-rounded woman that I am today.

So why should YOU join? Maybe you want to meet new friends. Maybe you want to challenge yourself. Perhaps you want to be in the spotlight. Whatever the reason, you have already taken the first step by daring to dream!

Here are some quick FYI's about our pageant:

* Age divisions: Princess (3-6), Sweetheart (7-9), Pre-Teen (10-12), Junior Teen (13-15), Teen (16-18), Coed (19-22) divisions determined by how old you are on January 1st of the year of competition

* Application Fee: $25, Sponsor Fee: New Contestants $350, Alumni $250

* Main segments of competition: Interview, Personal Introduction and Evening Gown (we also offer a host of optionals)

* Prizes: $500* cash award, $300 travel expenses to Orlando, Florida, 2 VIP tickets to Disney, crown, banner, trophies, one year personal appearance contract
