Hello Pageant contestants! I'll try to make this quick, so here we go:
1. Production Outfits- will consist of a white tee with an updated Miss American Coed logo (colors are black, white, hot pink and zebra). Accessories will also be provided with the tee. Contestants will need to provide their own black bottoms (shorts, capris, skort, whatever you like!) Also for footwear, I will leave this open as well. Keep in mind that you will wear the production outfit for the opening dance of the final pageant. So your shoes need to be "dance-able." If you are doing speech or actress you will wear the same outfit for those contests too. But you can dress it up for that if you like...it's up to you.
2. Ads/Program Book- Everything is due on June 30th. We still have Hostess positions available and have a great offer...purchase one full page ad, get the second full pade half off. Win the Miss Hostess title! And even better, we'll take care of your hotel costs for each full page ad that you sell!
3. Need Extra Forms? Email Sue at suecoville@yahoo.com! She has the mini optionals, sample introductions/interview, art contest, Mom/Dad Pageant, Parent of the Year, etc....These forms are available via email, as we are tyring to "go green" and save a few trees!
4. And the Creme' de la Creme'......(did I spell that right?) Oh well, this is pretty huge...I am PROUD to announce that MMG Model and Talent Management will be present at the NJ Pageant. And get this...they are giving out not one but SIX international modeling contracts to our winners!!! PLUS they will conduct interviews at their NYC offices with the top runner ups as well. Thank you MMG!!
We at Miss American Coed Pageants are working hard to provide you with the BEST pageant experience ever. Stay tuned for more exciting news and updates for our NEW ENGLAND pageant....I'm stewing up something good for you too girls!
If you haven't signed up, what are you waiting for???
Thanks MMG for sponsoring American Coed Pageants!
Special thanks to MMG!

Ladies! The pageants are fast approaching....are you READY? Don't be nervous at all. It will be an exciting weekend of meeting new friends and reconnecting with old ones. I can't wait to see you all ROCK that stage! Here are a few reminders/updates:
1. Both NJ and NE contestants will need a pink sun dress or cocktail dress for the Optional Awards show. As it stands, New England will have its usual dinner/dance/awards. Tickets are $25 and will be available for purchase on pageant weekend only. For NJ, as of now, it will be just a dance/awards show, with tickets at $10. If a dinner is added, tickets will be $25 per person. We will let you know if there is a change. Either way everyone needs a pink dress....any shade will do!
2. Only TWO newsletters were mailed out this year to reduce paperwork. Have you received them both? If not let us know and we will send that to you right away. The following forms are available electronically only: Art contest, Parent of the Year, actress scripts, sample introductions/interview questions, Spirit of America, Mom and Dad Pageant and mini-optionals.
3. Have you submitted your program book photo? We will only accept them via email to newenglandcoed@yahoo.com. Photos must be attached as a jpeg, and in the body of the email please list name, division, which state pageant (NJ or NE) and list of 5 sponsors to be placed under your name. We will only feature the contestants who have paid a minimum $100 toward their sponsor fee. Deadline is June 30th...don't delay.
4. We still have Hostess positions available! In fact, we have a sweet deal for you! Buy one full page ad, get the second ad half off! You will STILL qualify for the Miss American Coed Hostess title, in addition to getting one free hotel night for each full page ad that you sell. Ads are only accepted via email, newenglandcoed@yahoo.com. Offer ends June 30th!
5. Having trouble booking your hotel room? NE girls, contact Danielle Stoico at 508-270-1958 or danielle.stoico@sheraton.com. NJ girls contact Danielle Columbaris at danielle.colombaris@hanovermarriott.com or (973) 898-6471. The online link for NJ reservations is:
http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/ewrho?groupCode=njpnjpa&app=resvlink&fromDate=8/5/11&toDate=8/9/11
That's all for now! Keep checking back for further updates!
