At Miss American Coed we believe wholeheartedly that contestants should be comfortable and confident being their most authentic selves. To us, Freedom To Be Me, is not just a slogan or a motto. It is a commitment to supporting our contestants so they feel their uniqueness and their stories are seen, heard, and valued. Our pageant focuses on natural beauty - both inside and out. We do not have a swimsuit or fitness competition and do not allow makeup on contestants in our Princess and Sweetheart divisions for the required phases of competition. We want our representiatives to be confident, age appropriate, natural, and true to themselves.

No Experience Required

Whether this is your first pageant or the thirty first anything is possible at Coed! We provide easy to follow instructions for all areas of competition, examples of anything you may need to prepare, a private group for contestants and parents to ask questions and receive updates, and have staff available for any questions you may have. In addition, we provide score reports to contestants and an opportunity to receive all feedback and judge’s comments to help you prepare for your next event.

Our staff is comprised of former contestants, queens, and parents with decades of experience. Most importantly, everyone at Miss American Coed from the staff to the judges volunteers their time. They give up their time away from their families, their jobs, and their daily lives to help us provide an amazing event for our contestants. They are there out of their dedication for the program and their passion for providing contestants with the best experience possible.

Relaxing and Family Oriented Atmosphere

We know relaxing and pageants are two words that usually do not go together, but at Miss American Coed that is our goal! Our schedule is carefully crafted to provide contestants with ample time to get ready, relax, and enjoy their time. We include enough programming that you have exciting events every day without feeling like you cant stop to eat or see your friends and family. Our venue is conveniently located just steps away from disney springs and includes free transportation to all four disney parks. All pageant events take place right in the host hotel with a dressing room attached directly to the main ballroom. Everything is in one great location so you’ll never need to run or rush around.

Affordability & Convenience

As former contestants ourselves, we know how stressful preparing and paying for pageant expenses can be. With that in mind we not only strive to keep our fees affordable but also clear and easy to track. Our required entry fee is ONE fee. There are no hidden ad fees, package fees, opening number fees, forced sponsor purchases, or party packages. We have one required entry fee and ask contestants to bring their own opening number dress in an assigned color. We offer a wide array of optional competitions that you can chose from if you wish. Optionals are not required and are judged by a separate panel of judges. Most importantly, your entry fee and any optional fees are all tracked on one invoice where you can always see an up to date record of your payments, charges, and any balances. Our long weekend format provides you the fleibility to keep your trip short or extend for extra Disney fun making your stay more affordable and your time away from home more manageable. In addition to online invoices, all of our paperwork is online as well! No more carrying heavy binders or scrambling to print things before check in. Anything you need to submit can all be done virtually!

Straightforward Scoring

At Miss American Coed all competitions are equally weighted. This means your scores for each event are simply added together and the highest score wins. There is no ranking, no dropping of any scores, no confusing composite scores, no complicated formulas, no final question, no scores from required donations, and no fan voted placements. Contestants receive a full report of their scores free of charge and will have an opportunity to order a report of all judge’s comments as well.

Endless Opportunities

Many programs have more than one title but very few have the chance to compete in BOTH at the same time. With the evolution of our Miss American Victory program, contestants can elect to compete for both titles simultaneously! We have 9 age divisions allowing all generations to compete, we allow multiple contesants per state, and we do not restrict your ability to just one attempt in each age group. We want all of our contestants to have the best chance possible to continue to grow and achieve their goals.
